Podcast cover for Podster’s new series ‘The World’s Wildest People’.

The podcast company Podster expands their ‘The World’s Wildest’ universe with a new series delving into impressive accomplishments throughout history. The series is called The World’s Wildest People and will be published as a podcast, audiobook and physical book.

Podster’s original children’s concept, The World’s Wildest Bandits – a true crime series tailored for kids – has been a runaway success. Since its launch just 18 months ago, the series has released over 50 podcast episodes and inspired two book publications in its home country, Denmark. The series has also been sold to multiple publishers in the Nordics. These includes Cappelen Damm in Norway and Bonnier Carlsen in Sweden.

Following the success of The World’s Wildest Bandits, Podster has created a new title within The World’s Wildest universe. The new series is called The World’s Wildest People and features inspiring true tales of remarkable individuals who have accomplished feats that are both unique, thrilling and inspiring, such as illusionist Harry Houdini, activist Malala Yousafzai, mountaineer Junko Tabei and pianist Ludwig van Beethoven. Podster is again teaming up with renowned Danish children’s author Thomas Brunstrøm to develop The World’s Wildest People.

Listeners can now dive into the first Danish episodes of The World’s Wildest People on the streaming platform Saxo, which also hosts the hit series The World’s Wildest Bandits. The physical book will be released on October 23, 2025. JP/Politikens Forlag returns as the publisher, continuing their collaboration with Podster’s hit series. Illustrations are by Jonas Sonne, whose playful and distinctive style helped define the original universe. He now returns to bring the new story to life with Podster and JP/Politikens Forlag.
